DBC carried out NDT wall thickness readings 2019, 2020, 2021 for the steel chimney and outlet duct. Using rope access to reach all parts of the 100m tall structure. The work was carried out using specialist UTT techniques and equipment on the live chimney with surface temperatures between 90 - 140 degrees centigrade. This allowed the inspection to be completed without the need for an outage.
