JOB DESCRIPTION

Lake Medlow Dam, built in 1907, replacement of the permanent access platform at the centre of the heritage dam wall. The work undertaken in a remote, sensitive natural environment, above a water catchment on one side and a sheer 20m drop on the other. Utilising a lightweight engineered HUSIK access system to provide anchorage, installed by rope access advanced scaffolders and multiskilled rope access tradespeople to both remove and install the platform. DBC completed the installation with a minimal environmental footprint, without plant, cranage or the need for extensive scaffolding.
