INFRASTRUCTURE
The inspection, maintenance and construction of publicly and privately owned infrastructure is an incredibly important sector in which DBC Group provides our services. Aside from maintaining and improving quality of life, infrastructure developments provide for our future and are critical in sustaining the Australian population.
Our teams have a strong track record of effective infrastructure maintenance, working across a range of assets such as bridges, tunnels, dams, weirs, viaducts, water treatment, pipelines, roads and railways, as well as on marine infrastructure, such as ports and jetties.
DBC works collaboratively with Maintenance Engineers, Supervisors and Leaders to assist in the asset management of infrastructure providing inspection, maintenance, and repairs in work locations that are either work at height or in confined space or both. We assist with major and minor shutdowns. We also attend to the natural environments in which much infrastructure can be found responding to hazard reduction requirements whether urgent or seasonal.
Our client’s Maintenance Managers appreciate working with DBC as a vendor because of our track record and industrious approach to work. Also because DBC is accredited to the NSW government WHS Management Guidelines 6th Edition, as well as being certified to ISOs for Quality, Safety and Environmental management. These accreditations, along with IRATA and PCCP attest to how well we operate in this important sector.

MANUFACTURING
DBC has a powerful history of engagement in the manufacturing sector. DBC works collaboratively with asset owners, asset managers, engineers, mechanical strategists/planners, maintenance coordinators, shutdown superintendents/coordinators, and maintenance leaders to improve asset reliability and enhance production.
DBC has over 20 years experience working as an industrial rope access vendor in heavy industry settings such as steel works, cement works, calciners, as well as for significant paint and glass manufacturers. In many cases, DBC has pioneered the use of a rope access procedure for these client’s and paved the way for rope access as an alternative or adjunct to traditional access methods. Our manufacturing clients retain DBC as a longstanding ally and approved vendor having relied upon our access and trades maintenance services continuously for many years.
DBC are acknowledged as safety professionals with a proven ability to carry out high risk work safely year after year. DBC has a particular specialisation in refractory maintenance.
Our manufacturing clients require a quick but considered response to urgent breakdowns and effective maintenance solutions for replacements and various works during planned outages.
We work with our client safe work methods and prioritise the safety of all personnel.
Our clients in manufacturing appreciate working with DBC as a vendor for our track record. Extensive experience truly counts when it is gained at a particular heavy industry plant. MINING AND RESOURCES
The mining industry provides the resources – raw materials, minerals, and metals – that enable our modern lives. Resources that are required by advanced energy, communications and medical technologies as well as for other advances in science and engineering that we will require in the future.
The history of IRATA and, the now broad, acceptance of rope access for industrial, geotechnical, and commercial applications is inextricably tied to the offshore oil and gas sector. The Mining sector quickly followed suit in adopting rope access as a lean and cost effective maintenance solution for access at height and in confined space. Rope access is now a regular part of the workplace above ground at mine sites, on offshore facilities, for ports, for processing, for mines and resources infrastructure and more.
DBC has demonstrated high levels of WHS and environmental compliance required to satisfy the stringent prequalification requirements for our client’s in this sector.
The Superintendents, Controllers, Maintenance Coordinators and Engineering Managers who use our services in this sector appreciate that we are qualified to operate in these challenging environments. They also value our suite of accreditations, management plans, and procedures sufficient to manage the risk inherent on their work sites as well as those specific risks associated with work at height and in confined space that we undertake for them.
In this sector we provide a broad range of inspection, trades maintenance, and hazard reductions services.
